Adult Middle American Oak T-shirt

A massive oak of humid montane forest of Central America, Quercus bumelioides may be one of the tallest oaks. Possibly conspecific with another mighty oak, Quercus copeyensis, the Middle American Oak, of the white oak section of the genus is key to mature forest in the highlands where it is found, and very important to thousands of species of animals and other plants. It grows in very limited habitat, and habitat destruction by humans poses a threat the mighty oaks of high altitude cloud forests.
