Adult Southern Live Oak T-shirt

The Southern Live Oak is a massive long-lived tree in the white oak section of oaks that is found mainly in coastal lowlands in the southeastern United States and northeastern Mexico, from Virginia, south and west along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. It is found virtually throughout all of Florida and in much of eastern Texas, and in some places, hundreds of miles from the coast, such as in Oklahoma. Crown/limb spread is generally much greater than height on the larger specimens, which prefer open space for their branches to reach out and occupy. Several specimens have circumferences of over 30 feet, and long-living individuals host an array of animals and epiphytes over their centuries of life.
