Kids Blue Dacnis T-shirt

The Blue Dacnis is a small, pointy-billed tanager that is found in southern Central and much of tropical South America. The male is bright turquoise-blue with black markings on face, wings, and tail, and the female is mostly chartreuse with a bluish head. This species mostly feeds on fruit in trees in lowland forest and forest edges, and habitat loss due to deforestation presents a threat to this bird, as more and more forest is destroyed to provide for farmland throughout its entire range.
