Kids Acadian Flycatcher T-shirt

The Acadian Flycatcher is a small (but medium-sized for the genus) Empidonax genus bird that is very similar to some of its close relatives, such as the Yellow-bellied Flycatcher. During the breeding season, it prefers riparian habitat and the forest interior, where it is often found low in trees beside small streams. Though somewhat stable, forest fragmentation and large-scale deforestation threatens this species both on the breeding grounds in central-eastern North America, and on the wintering grounds in the tropics, where forest continues to be destroyed for farmland and plantations.
