Adult Collared Aracari T-shirt

The Collared Aracari is a toucan that is found from southern Mexico to northern South America. It is strikingly-plumaged, like most toucans, and is an opportunistic feeder, mainly relying on fruit and seeds, but also taking small animals such as lizards and snakes, small birds, and rodents, and also feeding on eggs (exhibiting similar dietary habits as other toucans, and corvids, such as jays). Interestingly, both parents and several other adults partake in feeding chicks before they fledge, and both male and female incubate their eggs. Destruction of the forest poses a threat to this, and many other species, and is causing it to have to adapt to fragmented habitat and coincide with humans.
