Adult Bullock's Oriole T-shirt

Bullock's Oriole is a species of the Icterus genus of New World orioles of the blackbird family that is found in western North America, where it breeds, and winters further south, generally through Mexico. Once considered conspecific with its eastern counterpart, the Baltimore Oriole as the Northern Oriole, this species is now separate, and the adult male physically differs from the male Baltimore, though the females are very similar. On occasion, the Bullock's Oriole hybridizes with the Baltimore Oriole. Like most other members of its genus, it weaves a basket-like hanging nest that often hangs in a fork in a branch. It feeds mainly on insects, fruit, and nectar.
