Adult Black-throated Blue Warbler T-shirt

A very unique warbler, the Black-throated blue is found in eastern North America during the summer, where it breeds in the Appalachian mountains and there foothills, as well as in the northeastern United States and southeastern Canada. It nests close to the ground in forest shrubs, and feeds on small invertebrates, which it also preys upon in the Caribbean and parts of Central America in the winter. Though possibly increasing in population, this species is somewhat rare, compared to other Setophaga warblers.
